James Lee holds a Master of Environmental Management (MEM) from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) and has a background in music (BMus, WAAPA) and film studies (GradDip Film & TV, AFTRS).
James joined the board of Future Dreaming in early 2021. He has a strong interest in interdisciplinary approaches to addressing social-ecological challenges, with a specific interest in how cultural engagements can inform and support transformative action. James is a program manager and director of the Australia Earth Laws Alliance (AELA), where he supports several project areas including AELA’s Earth Arts program and bioregional governance program, ‘Greenprints’. James is extremely multi-talented, and is also the web editor and designer for Future Dreaming.
